Tina Brooks - True Blue - Blue Note Classic Series LP

Blue Note Classic Vinyl — 180g, Kevin Gray All-Analog

A jewel of the Blue Note catalog, True Blue was the only album released during tenor saxophonist Tina Brooks' too-brief lifetime. Recorded in June 1960 just a week after Brooks appeared on Freddie Hubbard's debut, it reunites the two on the front line with Duke Jordan, Sam Jones and Art Taylor for five distinctive Brooks originals and one elegant standard.
